If I click on a link to take me to a specific forum and then click on a link to a specific topic I have no difficulty scrolling up or down on that page, but if I click on a direct link in an email to a thread I find that I cannot scroll up or down on that page, the exact same problem occurs when I click on a forum topic link on the right hand side of the forum main page, when I joined the forum I did not have this problem, but now in the past day it has become very frustrating.

Fine here on latest Firefox and Chrome.
May be helpful for the techie team to know what browser and version you are using.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I am using Windows 8.1 with a keyboard & mouse not a touch screen and Internet Explorer 11
This is the only forum that I have had this problem with and it was okay until a couple of days ago.0 -
Sounds like you're clicking on a link to a direct post, rather than to an actual thread.0

Yes I was, but I should be able to scroll up or down to see other posts in that thread when I do so, I was able to do so up until a couple of days ago.0
-
No, if you only load a post you can only view that post. You need to use a link to the thread to be able to view the other posts in it.0

Okay maybe I am not explaining this properly, if you log in to MSE and go to 'Forum' you see a list of all the different forums on the left hand side, on the right hand side you see a list of the most current discussion for each of those forums, if I click on one of right hand links I find myself on a page where I can view only one of the posts, I can just about see that there are other posts on the page but I cannot scroll up or down to read them, and I am experiencing the same problem when I click on a link in an e-mail for an alert on new posts for a thread, previously it was possible to do this, now it is not possible, and being a member of various other forums I can also do this, so something has changed from a couple of days ago, I have not updated my computer between then and now so the problem appears to lie with MSE.
Incidentally if the thread has multiple pages I can click below and move to another page and hey presto I can scroll up and down again, unless I return to the page that I landed on.0 -

--> Trouble scrolling?
Sounds the same, and I obviously recall it as I replied.
Common factor IE11? I know that does often not play well with forums running older versions of vBulltin as we have here.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
