Only the other day I was looking out of the window when I saw a German Shepard doing his dirty business on my lawn. I chased him off but he was there again the next day doing the same thing, and this time he’d brought his dog! It beggars belief.

For the life of me I can't remember where I heard this but made me laugh!!

They took the dog poo, wrapped it in newspaper and put it on the dog owner's doorstep. Rang the bell, then quickly lit the paper and ran away. Cue dog owner quickly stamping on the paper to put the flames out!!

Obviously due to health and safety concerns this should NOT be done, but....?

A very old urban legend/trick that one. The 'flaming envelope'.

Another vote for keeping an eye out, especially on a weekend if you can, and then public embarrassment.

My gran took one round to a neighbour on a trowel with the words "you left this on my driveway. I'll just pop it here" before tipping it on the step and walking off.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?
  • Years ago, back in the 70s when I were a lad, my friend's parents had a similar problem with a neighbour's dog pooping outside the front of their house.

This was in the days before dog poo bins or even poo bags, but it was still very annoying.

They kept watch until they spotted which neighbour and which dog then under cover of darkness, piled up several days worth of poo on the roof of that neighbours' Austin Maxi and stuck one of those little Union Jack sandcastle flags in the pile.

    Hey ho, problem solved.
