P & o compensation

Options
After paying £3998.00 for a 12 day cruise we experienced problems on a cruise with our Toilet overflowing twice, this caused us to have 2 days of misery. We have been awarded £400.00 discount on a next cruise (for 2 people) Do we have to accept this ?. we would rather have had the refund. Should we refuse and ask for a refund.

Refund of what exactly? Can you explain why the toilet overflowing twice ruined 2 whole days of your cruise. Do you stay in your cabin for the whole period?

so you had a 12 day cruise costing £3999.00 (£333.17 per day) and they have offer your £400 off the next cruise. For the issue it depends if you reported your complaint at the time or waited until you returned home, but i would say £400 is fair

So you complained and someone came and sorted it, why did this cause misery?
  • Were the two days of misery because one could not do number twos or was it more of the kind Dhelli Belly!

Who says that , the OP says it just overflowed, which implies it just come over the pan, so would of been contained in the toilet area also OP says it just happened on 2 days of their 12 day cruise, so they enjoyed 10 days. on the 2 days most likely allocated another cabin.

Would enjoy a holiday in that you spend a the whole time worrying when the WC might back-up, and possibly destroying your belongings? I would want another holiday.

  • You could have stuck your bums out of the porthole.

Why is it that P & O have constant problems with their toilets? Can they not get any plumbers?
