Hi Taverman, it worked very well. I believe I have got back most if not all of the files. Just the task of sorting them out. As the file creation dates are still in the properties it shouldn't take too long.

Can't remember which operating system you're using, but Google how to show file extensions.
I did this, then I used this to search for files using an asterisk, e.g. in search box, put *.jpeg
I then copied the resulting files into their own folder something obvious.
Repeat for each file type into it's own folder.
I found this made it easier to sort them.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
