Hope the bronchitis clears up soon Me&O, I've never had it but my Mum used to get it occasionally so I know how horrible it is.:o

    Hello all

Laura - unfortunately patenting is not an option with the business products, it's a bit of a nightmare, but something I'll have to learn to just shrug off I think. Very frustrating though. Some people have no conscience or work ethic it seems and take advantage of someone else's hard work.

Unfortunately the bronchitis has now turned into pneumonia. :( I have more antibiotics though and not feeling too bad, so hopefully it clears up soon.

Spent the weekend painting. And then did some more painting.
The same room - the hallway - which I was hoping to get the whole upstairs/stairwell and downstairs done before DS is back today, but that hasn't exactly gone to plan!
Long story, but the first colour looked awful and too dark, so I repainted it in a different colour - which I'm also not happy with. :o
Next weekend will involve much of the same painting methinks!

YNAB is up to date and telling me I can't spend much more money at the moment. Nice to be on track, even though I don't seem to be saving vast pots of money yet, at least I'm keeping track of spends and aware of what my budget looks like.

Must do some work, will update properly shortly.

Mainly for my records but comments welcome - here's my current SOA, not taking the business earnings into account and overpaying the CCs slightly. Once I pay these debts off, I'll be almost £300 better off a month which can then go to overpaying the mortgage, once I've built up an emergency fund.

'Rent' is bank of Mum and Dad who lent us money to originally get on the property ladder.

TV/Phone/Internet is £35 a month via Sky, but will be changing that when I'm out of contract, same with mobile phone which is up in January.

I returned two tins of unopened paint to the shop last night and swapped them for two more in a nicer colour for the hallway. My darling Dad is doing the high bits for me today whilst I'm at work. :) He also bought some leftover paint from their house - enough to enable me to paint the largest spare bedroom, so that'll be another project when I get time. :D

The folks returned with DS, armed with lots of food and treats. Still finding relations a little tough, but trying my best to enjoy the time and not to let some comments made last night get to me too much. :(

New jacket, top and purse arrived yesterday and all are lovely, so will be keeping them. Need to build the clothing pot up now before I can buy anything else. Really in need of some tops - or to lose weight so I can fit in some I already have! :o

YNAB updated this morning, it's not looking good :( - need to spend next to nothing now this month.

I'm due £80 cashback from Quidco which should be paid out this month, but I'll be putting that straight into the car fund as I'm going to need some work done on the car within the next month or two, then the insurance is due in December. :(

Impatiently waiting for next pay day so I can start building up my funds again. Unfortunately it's over 3 weeks away! :(

Freezer inventory done tonight, should help me plan some meals with what I have and save some money, although need to get some bits in that I know DS will eat.

I've put a lentil dahl in the slow cooker tonight, should last me for a few lunches/dinners this week and all from store cupboard ingredients.

Spends of £6.19 today. Totally unnecessary so kicking myself a bit, but had to get out of the office at lunch time as close to tears after a particularly bad morning which turned into an even worse afternoon.

Everything is getting to me today and I just want to shut me & DS away from the world and make it all go away. I'm feeling very stressed after recent issues with the ex, my parents thinking the sun shines out of ex's backside and now Him is up to something methinks. Work is getting absolutely unbearable to the point where I'm tearing up at the thought of going in tomorrow. I really just want things to get better soon.
