Thanks McHaggis, i have always wondered that if you blast through a section if you got one ticket or multi tickets equating to amount of cameras
But to be pedantic what about if you sped through camera 1 and 2 then camera 7 & 8 (thinking that 7 was last camera and you find out there is an number 8 Camera
Now i bet you are thinking i am asking from experience?
You'd be right!! Still waiting to see how many tickets i might get.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you"0 -
As Spicey said it may get treated as one offence if committed on the same stretch of controlled area.
But I don't suggest you try it to find out.:rotfl:
Oh, you already have0 -
Just driving down the motorway and some roadworks start which I forgot about, the weather was bad and never noticed the sign. I went through the first average speed camera I think I was probably speeding at the time. I then left the motorway immediately after the first one where it goes back to national speed limit, the roadworks continue on the motorway I have left. As only going through one camera am I still likely to be in trouble?
Thanks
The sign? Usually there are lots of signs, beginning a mile before the restriction.0 -
So what you are saying if i am reading right Bill, is if a restricted section has say 8 average speed cameras and you speed through all 8 cameras you end up with 4 speeding tickets????
If you sped through all 8 that would be 7 instances, not 4!
But as Spicy has said, only on offence.0 -

The answer is if you are going to speed make sure you speed consistently through all the control points (ie don't slow down

1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8. 7 pairs of cameras in total.
Haha, fencepost error. Nice example.
