hahaha yep it is infuriating and I can never ever seem to remember to do the copy/paste thing...Grrrr...but all I really wanted to say was thanks to everyone on the PPI congrats.. I am thrilled with the much needed cash injection.. only a drop in my big ocean of debt but definitely going the right way... i posted the acceptance letter and hope it comes sooner rather than later..pay day is on tuesday next week but i'm gonna be up against the tightest month probably ever now.. but if the PPI comes relatively quick it will take the strain of that, and then from the end of may onward, i'll be back on the track more or less.

phoned car insurance and arriva (bus company) and everything formally reported to both. churchill going to liaise directly with arriva/TfL on the next bit and said I should just wait to hear... it is unfortunate that I do not have the witness details..(again wasn't thinking straight) but hopefully the cameras will speak for themselves then they view the footage and it will be a fast admission of liability ----> get quote for my repair ----> charge it to them. in the meantime I am just driving with it bashed and scuffed in red-paint - quite a fetching look :D

i am seriously stressed and overwhelmed @ work right now.. in the evenings i find myself so physically tired and 'snappy' it is hard to be a good dad to a lively 4 year old. i am noticing the symptoms of some of my previous stress / anxiety related conditions coming in.. non stop worrying, dark thoughts (the darkest one even).. and the overeating.
i am considering taking the day off tomorrow sick. i feel a little bit like i need to stop that in its tracks before it gets any worse or spirals. i can be a bit fragile in those areas as previously discussed so i don't want it to turn in to another episode.
    if i'm honest i am feeling like a bag of s h 1 t.

oh, regarding the treat Edwink and you lovely lot... i had the same little thought on that extra £43 odd quid! i know part of the process of debt slaying is to still have some enjoyment in life (fun pot).. but I feel so bad about spending anything when I owe so much! Maybe..:)

Another vote for putting the £43 odd in your fun pot - or, at the very least, in your Emergency Fund/other bank A/c. (Would have said this yesterday but the Internet connection at the cottage was so flaky that I became a person of even fewer words than normal!)

I also think it would be good for you to have a little treat with that £43 Levi. How about putting it in your basic a/c for now as greyfox suggested and then you can have a think about it? It will just be a little way of congratulating yourself which is a good thing to do!!:j:j Perhaps it could come in handy for LL's half term week?

I'm not surprised you're feeling so yuk right now after all that stress from the accident. Take tomorrow off sick if you need it hun - (and it will give you a break from JAW!!)

Hey Mr, maybe just maybe that £43 could stretch to something for LL's room and a treat for you both? Then you would have tangible evidence of what it gave you in the form of something nice for LL :)

I agree to taking it off sick. I know it is pot calling kettle as I never do it but sometimes when it is overwhelming you just need to take the time away. Do it. I'll phone in for you ;) :rotfl:

Hey Levi, have you taken the day off? I hope so...
Sometimes you just need a day to take time out for yourself and recharge your batteries a bit.

and I agree with the treat money - take LL out for a fun day together or buy something super for yourselves, even if it doesn't cost the full £43. It may help to make you feel a little brighter too.
