nothing much just calling Me&O a ginge which she is.:)

Someones coming tonight to collect my old Dustbuster from Freecycle.
Old car stereo up for sale on eBay (was on Freecycle but possibly worth a little bit so may as well try - free listing).

£40 in my account from Tax Credits today which makes zero sense at either on date or amount but all will become clear.

Sent email to TfL via complaints section of site, they said it will be approx 8 working days for a personalised response.

8 days is a bit of a long time to rely on a bus company keeping cctv from their buses hun. I think a phone call is genuinely in order to get that part of it saved at least...

Ditto - plus get the insurance details. Think you should contact Churchill ASAP to get the ball rolling from their end.

LOL about the hair! It reminds me of a friend who I've only ever known as blonde, who dyed her hair black. Thank goodness she posted a photo of the result on facebook so I had the chance to do the double take in private:rotfl: I think I'd have found it hard to cope face to face!! She's blonde again now!!:T:T

lol.. yeh.. weird one on the hair but not bothered.. just found it funny. (btw Lilty at least i'm nowhere near bald ... yet).
Bobrella, nice to see you back around here:) no, they probably hadn't had their coffee or just didn't like my hair :D i'm quite a grouch in the morning too - pre-11am (or 11 coffees) i'm really not into small talk, and when people hang around and try to start up any with me they get very flat responses or some kind of dry, uninterested response. they probably think i'm awful!

yeah.. wise words greyfox, lilt.. i guess i'll summon up courage to call arriva tomorrow directly to the local depot of where it happened to at least get the factual info that I need to pursue it (route, reg, driver etc).

feeling pretty down tonight but just the normal reasons. hanging in there. no PPI letter yet but pay day edging closer. work is terrible due to in-house conflict and still stuff with JAW and overload of work. blah. but i am working from home tomorrow which is always a relief.
someone came over this evening to collect my old dustbuster from freecycle... she loved (barky "who the heck is at MY door??") ozzy and she asked if he came with it.. :) happy result as ever from a freecycler though which is rewarding.. :) and got it out of the way from since i cleared out junk.. i had originally planned to dump it.. which seemed a shame when it still worked fairly well.

Ah, don't be down, hairdo (you give it, you take it...;)). I can understand why, as you've already had a week from hell and it's only Tuesday, but tomorrow is hump day, so all will be well from here on.

You're doing awesome, don't forget it.
    Xx

P.s. Am I odd to not know what a DustBuster is??? Off to google I go...

Hi Levi. I hope you and LL are ok. Just little advice about car insurance. I'm with Churchill as well. In December lorry driven into the side of my little car while I was waiting at the traffic light. Not a scratch on the lorry but damage to my rear door and wheal arch. I took company details and drew pictures of my accident(I'm useless at drawing). I had no witness as it was rush hour in the evening and nobody stopped. Lorry driver was ok and said company will pay. I got home and rung my insurance straight away. Just to mention my exess is £400. I wanted my car repaired straight away so initially had to pay exess, which I got back in full once company accepted responsibility. If I waited for repairs until company took responsibility I wouldn't have paid nothing. Churchill have been great and kept me updated with everything. I also kept my no claim years and my premiums not changed. My advice will be to call and tell them all the details about the accident including how awful driver was to you. Mention that you had LL in the car as this changes everything when kids are involved. They will take it from there and you don't need to be involved anymore. I had call from lorry drivers insurance company with some strange questions and just referee them back to Churchill and they took care of everything. This is of course just a suggestion and I received a lot of advice from family and friends but at the end of the day you pay insurance for this reason - so let the Churchill deal with what they know best. Just for the record I'm not employed or any connection to Churchill. This comes from someone who had licence for only 2 years and was absolute scared about everything. Yet it was all taken care and bad situation which was dealt with very professionally by insurance company without causing ant further stress for me.

Oh Levitt what a terrible week you've had. No need for bus driver to act so vile or the public. Must have been awful for you especially with LL in the car.

Deffinately get on the phone to them and see what they say. cameras are usually quite good on buses to help them with claims etc so should work in your favour .

I know the highway code says to give way to buses but they do need to remember they have to look first! How are you supposed to give way when youre already going round them!! I hope the insurance pay up quickly and get it sorted as stress free as possible for you.
