I'm here I just have nothing interesting to say!

Well here is one thing : PPI rang me this morning. I thought it was gonna be bad news like "oh hi, you're the only person in the world ever not to get a PPI refund, ok bye!"... but it was just a guy from the investigation team asking me loads of questions again.. more or less the same ones as the first time but I asked how much longer this will be and he said the 27th April deadline remains in place. Seems like they really don't have much info on my loan and are blagging it - which is fine by me. I reiterated how I was entirely unaware that any PPI was being added to my loan, and it would have been something I didn't need had I been made aware of it because I had quite a good sick pay and redundancy package in the job I was in at the time. I went the whole nine yards about how it wasn't made clear to me, which is fully true. They asked where I took it out, I told them the branch details but had to pass on the bit about physical description of the person who dealt with it, this was 10 years ago, lol.

All else is OK. Working from home today and going to take Oscar out on a nice long run in a bit...the weather is beautiful again! I am fasting at the moment for 3 days because am desperately in need of a detox and need to curb the compulsive overeating that started up again due to stress. Work has been horrible.

It is my Dad's birthday today - sent him that Tommy Cooper book that I got a while back down from £12.99 to £3 :money: and he text to say thanks :beer:

LL is fine.. had swimming club last night... school is fine.. they did something about Brazil on Monday which he enjoyed because his mama was Brazilian. He is sleeping in his own bed and even told me his bed is way better than mine I managed to improved his room a little out of things we already had (relocations) but still need a bit more, but it can wait. I put a couple of bits on Freecycle but had no takers so will be dumping them later.. almost at the end of my recent clean out/chuck session.. a few bits for charity shop too which I will drop off. Hmm I think that is all for now but will come back if anything of any interest develops.!

Am loving that LL only needed that final push of encouragement to sleep in his own bed Levi.
So happy for both of you the way things have worked out with LL. In 3 months you've come so far with settling him in and I am sure you are both reaping the benefits of having separate beds and a proper bedtime routine which, whilst not set in stone especially in the holidays, is working for you when you need it to!!

Hi Levi,

Im glad everything is settling down for you and that LL is now spending more time in his own bed, that must make you sigh a little, keep pushing with the PPI, I have put my own claim in too, and they like to drag their heels... I like you have very little information apart from I know I didn't realise it had been added, and the account was opened over 10 years ago....

have a good walk with Oscar sounds like its going to be a warm day today, shame I am sick and not able to make it out of my sick bed.. head is still fuddled...

Such great news about the duvet success for LL Levi! And that his bed is so much better than yours! Just make sure you don't buy yourself a cool new duvet (particularly superman, spiderman or similar!) anytime soon!:rotfl::rotfl:

I hope you get a good result in the end with this PPI claim Levi - they certainly do like to drag their heels as Westie said! You'd think they'd want to move on to all the packaged bank a/c claims they now have coming in!!! xx

thanks guys... L has been back since Mon.. they are pretty flex with the term times to accommodate lots of different parents scheduling which is one fantastic benefit of public schooling.. and his class is at 30%ish capacity which gives him some extra 1-2-1 time this week until the others come back.

it is excellent that he has grown to love his room.. makes life a lot easier for me in that respect!

been running with Oscar.. 1 load of washing drying outside.. now must do some work xx
