So glad to hear that you've spoken with your landlord and come to an agreeable solution. :j0

thanks Lilt:heart2:.. no worries, MB, I understand how you feel.. i am more disappointed than anyone.. it wasn't a missed payment scenario/rent or anything just something that slipped the net because it came up in november right before LL moved in and I was flying transatlantic-ally at the time, my landlord did lots of renovations to the block and the tenants all agreed to pay a contribution to some of the stuff which also included some specifics i needed done to make the place child friendly, get rid of some damp, privacy film, new curttains and blinds, what have you... he invoiced me for it right when i was in a sea of life altering events and was very understanding when i said 'can you give me a few months on this, say, april?'
next thing i know it was april and i hadn't thought a thing more about it. unforgivable i know - especially as in feb with my LBM i spent ages working everything out what i owe and where and i have no idea why i didn't remember it, i suppose it was just one of those irregular things that slipped the net. x
ps : i've always alwaaaaaays been on time with rent, plus any previous extra payments, never quibbled rises, he knows i look after the place very well so i don't think i'd be on his bad tenant list for a while i hope. its OK hopefully as long as i'm good to my word on april 28, which i will be, everything is under control on the "blip".. blips though eh? ain't life full of 'em.- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

I will never master that in a million years.
MessyBetty we know our Levi would never miss a payment now don't we. It wasn't rent, that much I knew so I PM'd to find out. Levi is not by anyones standards the worst tenant in this place, and much as I see where you are coming from, I went and got the facts behind the scenes before I jumped on the poor fella.
Lilty trust me I didn't jump on anyone 😀
Lots of love to you, and to you too MessyBetty because I know your intentions were good. xxx

Hooray!!!
Fantastic news. I knew it would just take a phone call and you had blown it up in your own head beyond what was actually going to happenI am very very proud of you for picking up the phone hun. I know that for you that sort of thing takes a lot of guts so well done and a big pat on the back. See thats two phonecalls that have made your life much simpler now. These phone things are alright aren't they
Blips.. they are everywhere my dear. We all have em. I appear to have 20 a day at the moment. Most of which relate to a drama llama threenager. :rotfl:
Everything will be ok. Remember to tell us what the dramas going on behind the scenes in Levi-ville are because it is better out than in, and with more information, we can try our best to help you no matter what
MessyBetty I didn't mean you jumped on him,:grouphug: just that the circumstances (as you see above) were quite different to what it sounded like when landlords and money were mentioned
we are all doing our best to push him through. I hope I didn't offend you either!
