I'm dreading the wedding. I am 50/50 not going. I have them a card written out.. and I promised the guy I would be there cos he literally only has a handful of people to go (the problem with a Monday morning wedding). He is a friend I care about and know his fiance a bit too, she is pregnant (due August) so I mean... I SHOULD go.. I just don't really want to be in the social setting I think if I do make it I will arrive quietly, sit at the back, briefly speak to them and then just get out of there straight home.

Levi, have you thought of doing a pro/con thing?

It's something I got taught in hospital, you make a table with pro's of doing.... cons of doing....pros of not doing....cons of not doing....
And then make an informed decision based on that.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm sure it will mean a lot to him if you're there, however, if he knows how things have been for you recently I'm sure he'll understand if you don't go. See how you feel in the morning. I've never heard of a Monday morning wedding!! xxx

Yes see how you feel in the morning - you may find you just do it on auto-pilot if you do go but that's ok! And if you can't face it you can see them soon when you're feeling better xx

Sounds like a good plan to me, too. I think your being there (even if only briefly & quietly) would mean a lot to your friend.

I got married on a Monday morning! OH is Jewish so we couldn't marry on a Saturday as it would have been impossible for some of his family to have come.
