  • We went to the library this morning OH wanted to do a bit more research, so we decided to be cheeky and park in Sainsbugs car park. I did go in and get a TV Choice, but it was much closer than walking from Morrisons at the bottom of Sherrard Street and saved me 70p parking in the bus station car park.

I was back before him, so set the lunch and sorted tonight supper before starting to sew together the Dresden plate blades I taked up last night.

I have spent 2 hours trying to sort out what is supposed to be 'an easy block' have done it now, but it was driving me potty until I realised I was looking at the instructions for a smaller block......doh..... what a pratt

Now I just need to sew it together and hope it comes out to the right measurement!!

Lovely sunny day, I washed the cream throw that OH has on his chair, made up a load with the whites from the laundry basket, will leave them another hour, the throw will have to finish off n the airer in the sitting room but the rest should be dry. Will just put them on the radiator to air them off and they can be put away.

Thanks everyone...spent the better part of 10 hours doing this 'urgent' work and it's done. Then I went a walk to the end of the road, stood at the cattle grid and watched the sun set over Jura and then walked back. Not far at all (only 4025 steps) but it stretched out my stiffness.

And now just 18 days left at work, at least for me it's tangible.

Poured a glass of wine, set the fire and heated a bowl of soup. Not going to work tomorrow and it's my long weekend so not back in until Tuesday. OH will finally set up the rest of the gadget things which went zap recently.

Happiness is back in my world!
