Lloyds not sending money to Halifax.

Try paying cash into it via a branch.
That might highlight the problem.0 -
Send some money from your RBS to Halifax, you will then be able to see with which bank the issue is with.0

I opened an account with Halifax last week and I've been trying to send money to it through my Club Lloyds account online. For some reason its not going through, it will set up the new recipient but not send money of any amount. I've tried sending it to the Halifax c/a and the savings account I set up too, nothing. I can still send money to my RBS account through Lloyds or my oh's Halifax account, but not mine.
Never had an issue like this before so no idea whats going on.
Hi Djene.
I've checked with our Online Helpdesk and there's no general problem affecting transfers between Lloyds and Halifax accounts. They've suggested that you call them directly so they can look at your accounts and try to establish what's causing the problem. The number to call on is 0845 3000 116 / 01733 232 030 and they're open from 7am-10pm Monday-Friday and 8am-6pm on weekends.
Thanks

Is the Halifax account a current account?
I only ask because if it's a savings account there are sometimes limits on the amount some of them can accept.(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )
Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter!0 -

Well low and behold I've now got the same problem. Internal transfers are apparently blocked on my internet banking yet external payments go through. If I try and transfer between Lloyds accounts it throws up an error message and if I try to transfer between Lloyds and BoS it says the payment has been successful when it hasn't. Rang up and there is apparently a restriction on my account (presumably something to do with the large payment I sent to myself through faster payment this morning) so I'm going in to branch to get it removed tomorrow.0 -
