Some interesting views of cheerleading here...I think looking up some all-star competitive work would be useful.
Competitive routines are bloody hard work, and absolutely nothing to do with pom-poms, giggling, or yelling inanities

However, most cheerios I've met are genuinely nice people and would be there to pick people up if they're feeling down. So everyone should find a personal cheerleader!

I went on a course once and to demonstrate something the course leader had one of us go upstairs and then walk down while all the rest of us cheered and clapped and made that person feel tremendously welcome.
We all then took turns doing that and it was pretty amazing. It was all fake obviously but all that energy of adoration was so uplifting - when I'm down now, I think of it and it makes me smile.
Yep, I wouldn't mind a personal cheerleader.0 -
Its good to feel that people believe in you and want to encourage you and support you.
Its always nice to have someone on your side who is willing you to succeed.
