Just to let you know (as posted on the original post)
Regular compers on MSE already post the daily ITV comps & will arrange for someone to cover them if they aren't going to be around - because the search facility won't pick something up for at least 30 mins after posting, please remember that regular posters will probably already have this in hand!

  • Thanks for emphasising the rules mjm3346. Stuff 'nice & quiet'. There has been a flood of posts from users not bothering to search or posting things usually done by regulars. Not only has this proven annoying it has meant some have had entry invalidated due to multiple entry. MSE forums are user monitored. It's the way it works around here.

When things go wrong it is VERY NECESSARY to point them out in public so we all learn. Each of us can also learn to not taking things personally nor provoke people when guidelines & rules are broken and someone points this out.

This comp forum needs to run as smoothly as possible due to the volume of posts. This is only achieved through fellow forum members time and effort. That's why the rules are there and sometimes we all need a gentle reminder.

I appreciate there are rules, and don't need mjm3346 pointing these out on 5 different occasions! I find this to be over the top, patronising and nit picking!

Pointed out to you once, the other times were in response to other posters.

    Also from the guide:
At the end of the day, no comper 'owns the right' to post a particular comp

Also note the word 'guide' and not 'rule'.

Everyone on this board needs to chill out. The opening poster has been nothing but nice and just wanted to help by posting a competition that was not on the board.
  • not it isnt a rule and libra didnt mean any harm but the fact is people do certain posts and give up their personal time to watch the show and post them up-if we just say anybody can post them we wouldnt know who was doing what
    What goes around-comes around

Yes you did. But the word rule was mentioned or quoted in 5 other posts so I thought it pertinent to mention it.
