From the guide so they know in future

I can understand having a regular poster for the magazine competitions but having regular poster for TV comps, I think anyone should be able to post them if they are not already posted.Posting is a privilege, not a right. This is a privately-owned site. Posting is a privilege, not a right. Any inappropriate posts or any issues that take up a disproportionate amount of resources or make it a worse place to be will be stopped at our discretion - with or without explanation. No one pays to use this site; when there are issues, we pay to resolve them. Sometimes we need to prioritise spending money on the site, other issues or better resources. Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember, the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue. A Guardian article once "doffed its cap" to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back. Our job is to help keep it that way.Facebook = FB | Twitter/X = TW/X | Instagram = IG | Threads = THS | Snapchat = SC

It's all in the guide - posts do not show on search for some time and having regular posters helps to stop a mass of duplicate posts with people trying to be the first to post them and also saves the regular posters the need to search.
None of them have short closing closing dates so there is no issue if they are not posted the first moment the competition is shown and are posted sometime later.0 -
At the end of the day op thought she was doing well, goodness me never saw such fuss since i worked in a nursey. Op thank you for posting and thinking you were doing good,to be absolutely jumped on! a quiet pm to op would have sufficed instead of all this drama!0

Having the comping guide pointed out so they and other people could avoid making the same mistake again is hardly being "jumped on".0 -

As I already posted
.so they and other people could avoid making the same mistake again0 -
And the original poster is hardly a beginner and has not come back...
cathyj, thank you for all your work posting these - seems we have people here willing to take on the task of posting them regularly week in, week out so perhaps you should have a nice break?"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Sincere apologies to cathyj for posting competition which she usually posts. In my defence, I had searched but nothing showed, and didn't realise this competition had a regular poster.
Like chrissie57 says, I have been using these forums for around 11 years now, gained lots from the posts, and (hopefully), given back some things too. By posting the competition it wasn't my intention to upset regular posters. Just thought I could pay back a little to the forum from which I have benefited so much.
I appreciate there are rules, and don't need mjm3346 pointing these out on 5 different occasions! I find this to be over the top, patronising and nit picking!
I apologise again to cathy, comping is suppose to be an enjoyable, relaxing hobby, not the start of World War 3!0 -
