Why would you seek permission of your current employer if you were fulfilling all your obligations to them (effectively none if you have been granted gardening leave)?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Because if you are on gardening leave you are not normally allowed to go to another job within the hours of your normal contractDon't know.

Yes. But the starting point is end January. so February was worked and 2 months pay will be forthcoming. I'm not sure if it will be on pay days or as a lump sum.
