Following my problem with the DACS line(now sorted) tried to connect my AOL wireless router to my antiquated PC only to find that it does not have an Ethernet port! Do I need an NIC? Where does it fit? Is there another way to do this? Could I just buy a wireless adapter from Aldi? If so, what sort? ALL help would be appreciated as usual!

Are you trying to connect your router to a laptop or office computer?
If you just need a NIC look at http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/104381/rb/0
Or just go to you local PC world and buy their cheapest (probably £10)
Or if you want to connect wirelessly

If you are connecting only one PC, go for a NIC and Ethernet cable. see your DACS thread. It is always best to have at least one wired connection to your router. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
