Callcredit and Callcreditcheck

I know the £2 fee for a basic credit report is minimal, but I recently went on to Callcredit website to order one, when I was coming to the end of the process, my application for some reason has been declined.
I sent Callcredit an e-mail which they stated I had not completed the full process so the money paid will not be debited, but on checking my bank ,I noticed £2 has been debited pending from Callcreditcheck Leeds, who I have also emailed and awaiting reply, please advise if these 2 companies are the same cos I am very curious

The other credit reference agencies in the UK include Experian and Equifax.

Short answer: they are two different companies.
