Yes, I'd suggest submitting an exact copy of the appeal referred to by Zero Gravitas, except amended for Liverpool rather than Humberside. Supplement it with a detailed analysis of the failings of the signage as analysed by the Prankster.
The OP who succeeded with his IAS appeal has kindly permitted us to refer to his case. I have sent you the identifying details of his case by Private Message. I suggest you prefix your appeal by stating that appeal ref ******** in name ******* was allowed by the IAS and since your case and your appeal are identical to his you expect the same outcome.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Thanks for the replies, I will look into that and get in it0

Just a quick update
I tried to appeal via the online appeal process, but due to working away for a few days and having other issues ongoing at home, it appears I missed the deadline by a few days to appeal
I emailed IAS to explain but they said basically I had so many days to reply.
I'm not sure what route to go down now, I know I stupidly caused this myself, but I was going to go down the ignore route after realising missed the deadline, but I'm not so sure now after the recent case in the press
Should I contact VCS themselves or just pay the £100
Not sure what to do0 -

apologies for wasting the digits!
Just more concerned now about the recent case in the news, knowing my luck I will be the one VCS decide to take to court0 -
well it would be interesting , and there is a fighting fund in place to cover the first VCS/JLA case that ever gets to court.
basicly they are using parking laws to defend stopping , they are on land that cannot be used by there methods , information passed from the DVLA illegally , etc etc etc,
if this comes to court , there little house of cards will fall over , we know it , they know it , the DVLA know it , but no one will stop it!
"if" you are brought before the court on any charge apart from trespass**) then you will get lots of help , and the !!!!!!s will fall on there swords
*** trespass must be by JLA , not VCS, and they have got your info illegally0 -
Thanks a lot for the replies, I will certainly sleep on this now and think about the way to to.0

there was supposed to be a court case recently but VCS pulled out a few days beforehand, perhaps they knoew they cannot win, despite any Beavis result ?
I would just ignore them all except any VCS inspired LBC or MCOL0 -
Just a quick update, received a letter this week from what seems to be a debt collection company called BW Legal, over 12 months later
They state they have been instructed by their 'client' to collect the balance of £100, plus the clients legal costs of £54!!!!
They state of I don't make payment within the time frame, we WILL seek our clients instructions to commence legal proceedings against you in the form of a county court claim
They are asking me register on their web portal to provide payment details, or reasons for non payment
Is this just a threat, as I have made my reasons clear to VCS originally
Thanks0
