"You should also consider writing complaints to your MP, the local papers and the DVLA . "

    have you stated this yet?

I would normally add the land owner ... but JLA appear to be complicit in all this ... not sure why :D

You say you turned off the road into another property entrance, can you clarify this as the only turn off is Owen Drive which is beyond their boundary.

Not sure on the road name itself, it was a building entrance off their road
  • I received exactly same notice wording same for very similar thing the only difference was my friend was already waiting at the roundabout so I decided to pull over (10 seconds) away from roundabout where no yellow line and still got this letter by post. I am very confuse as a lot people saying oh you paid private land but on the end of the day I don't have time to explain all in court or i don't want my credit rate go down so what shall I do?

Please start your own thread. It could get really confusing giving two different people advice in the same thread.

I did start my own thread but people from there refer my to other links. I read the newbies but I am still slightly confused.

I have received my reply from VCS today, as expected they believe they had every right to invoice me

I have attached a copy of the reply (censored) for viewing

I have noticed an incorrect statement in their reply, in the 6th paragraph of their reply, they state:

" we can confirm that you stopped your vehicle"

How can they confirm this without knowing the driver details

I will post my initial appeal email if necessary

Should I appeal further with my original points?

    Thanks

  • As this is Liverpool airport and therefore not relevant land, an IAS appeal may actually be in order. The user "Bodmass" recently won an IAS appeal (gasp!) against VCS at Humberside airport:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5195073

His IAS appeal is shown in posts 7 and 8 of the thread (it's quite long). Obviously, you'd need to amend it for Liverpool rather than Humberside. And you may want to include some information from the Parking Prankster specifically about the signage at Liverpool airport. That information can be found here:

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co...ignage-at.html

I'd suggest you construct an appeal based on those two sources.
