Surface Cleaner for Patio etc

Options
The gadget below is compatible with the pressure cleaner I already have. Anyone got this and if so is it any good as a patio cleaner? My patio and paving slabs are badly needing a good scrub.

I got the genuine Karcher one, came with the pressure washer. I found it completely useless. I just use the jet washer.

Had a feeling that might be the case.

I've struggled finding one strong enough to sort my patio out too.
  • I watched my neighbour scrape his over the stones.
I would want it to act a bit like a floor polisher and glide, which is why I haven't yet paid out the £55 Amazon want for one.

For £15, I might give it a punt and see as it may be helpful in some areas, not so helpful in others.

Yes, it may be worth £15. Might get one Not sure when I am going to find time to use it though but when I do I will come back to this thread and give some feedback.

I clean my paving with a pressure washer which does a great job apart from splashing dirty water everywhere, I bought a plastic cover guard from Aldi for a few quid which connects to the jet poker nozzel thingy which should prevent the splashback although I haven't used it in anger yet. I saw one of my neighbours using one of those scrubbing attachments that you show and it took her about 10 times longer to do her paving as it did for me to do mine just using the jet washer.

I use our karcher but use plenty of diluted jeyes fluid, it brings it up really clean
  • I always get the big Domestos bleach and put it on patio with a watering can , leave it for about 10 mins then have a good Karcher jet wash off. job done.....

Well, the jury's still out on this I think. I don't want to use bleach because it will leech into the borders that abut the paving and patio.

Think I must don the wellies and waterproof trousers and get on with it. Having never used the power washer before I can see fun and games, not least deciding how to put it together and which nozzle to use!

Yes mine comes up clean without having to use any bleach just hold the jet as close to the paving as you can, the sprayback goes everywhere so if you are anywhere near to the house watch the doors and windows or you may be completing one job and find that you have another one to do.
