I've completed a debt management plan, but have 8 defaults on my credit file wich all will be over six years old and hopefully wiped in October.
Just wondering will I be able to get a mortgage in October? , how quickly does your file improve. I've have a Aqua bad credit credit card showing good payment history for 8 months if that helps.

Well after October, you will want to obtain copies of all 3 of your credit reports in November to make sure all the defaults have dropped off first. I wouldn’t just apply for a mortgage in October without making sure of this first.
Do you have any other cards/bank accounts/phone contracts showing as being paid and up to date monthly aside from the Aqua card?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Well in that case, time is the healer. Nothing further you can do apart from wait until November, make sure all 3 of your credit reference agency files are clear and then re-apply.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
