Mortgage after dmp

I've completed a debt management plan, but have 8 defaults on my credit file wich all will be over six years old and hopefully wiped in October.
Just wondering will I be able to get a mortgage in October? , how quickly does your file improve. I've have a Aqua bad credit credit card showing good payment history for 8 months if that helps.

Well after October, you will want to obtain copies of all 3 of your credit reports in November to make sure all the defaults have dropped off first. I wouldn’t just apply for a mortgage in October without making sure of this first.

Do you have any other cards/bank accounts/phone contracts showing as being paid and up to date monthly aside from the Aqua card?

Well in that case, time is the healer. Nothing further you can do apart from wait until November, make sure all 3 of your credit reference agency files are clear and then re-apply.
