How is it going? I'm torn between putting ours on with them or the local agents. Last time we had our house on the market it sold in a couple of days and the agent hadn't even taken a photo of the insides so I don't feel I had my money's worth!
I have a viewing this morning and later on. TBF you only need it on rightmove and zoopla and it will sell itself.
Remember you do all the work anyway.

I totally agree anything is worth a stab. Go for it, it is an interesting experiment. I am reading with interest.
However, I do think that getting a buyer is only the beginning of the matter. EA can earn their fees by being the middle-man getting a buyer to increase an offer and also by overseeing the process, helping keep a chain together, so I think there will be lots of finger crossing until the very end!
Good luck.
And please do post the link with the ropey description!0 -
I have another viewer walking down the pathway now0

Two views so far one coming back on Friday with wife he is buy to let and said he will offer. Others Could tell not seemed to like the house and have sold so desperate to move. Two later today half hour apart gulp! I must have priced it right. Who needs pricey agents!0

One of the viewers who come tonight works for the estate agent I told to do one! He is coming back tommrow with his girlfriend.!0

Two more visits today and two offers! And two coming back. One offer is a joke and refused straight away. The other is good offer but house not yet sold??0

Think I'm going to give it a go and list my property with hatched. Like you said for £300 it's got to be worth a try. Will mean I can accept offers slightly lower than I would be able to via an estate agent so more chances of finding a buyer?0
-
It of course depends on your area and how quickly properties get sold where you are. You could also consider accepting the same offer than you would with a high street agent, but be able to make a higher one on your next property with the savings.0

Property moves fast around here. But I think I have valued it right.0

Yeah it would be nice to accept a higher offer but I need to sell my property quickly, we're looking to price it very well and not actually make much money on it.
Next house will be a New build on HTB so no need to offer more
But that said the extra money wouldn't be missed0
