Ryanair front page

Could someone who understands HTML suggest why I can never fill in the boxes or click the dates on the Ryanair front page ?

The secondary "book flights" page which is linked to at the bottom of the front page works perfectly OK.

I use Firefox and XP.

No. Given that the problem can be solved with one click of the mouse, installing a new browser would seem rather excessive.

What I am interested in is why the problem occurs and has never been fixed.

It's something to do with your own browser/PC setup. The site is fine for me on both FF and IE.

No need for a new browser and there is no problem to fix:

  • Try Firefox in Safe Mode.

    What about Internet Explorer?
  • It works fine for me too in FF and IE.

Apparently they used to test British cars that way - it works in the factory so if it doesnt work when it rains, that is the customers problem.

The front page clearly works fine for most people, for if it did not, Ryanair would have fixed the problem by now. However, quite consistently, one Ryanair page works and the other does not so there must be a difference in the way they are coded.
I have a suspicion that one set of coding does not work over the wireless network that supplies my internet.

You have changed your tune now, previously you were asking why it "has never been fixed"

Seems to me that if the problem appeared when Ryanair introduced their "new" front page and still exists today then the problem has never been fixed.

But maybe you do not understand HTML.

I think your suspicion is ridiculous, but easily confirmed by repeating your test with a wired connection.
