Evening all, I am really rubbish at this glitching. I wish Patty would come back and help me!

    1 x Dove Go Fresh Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Compressed... £3.59 £3.25
    1 x Dove Men + Care Antiperspirant Deodorant - Extra F... £3.59 £1.79

I'll think I stick to buying just the loo roll as that is the only thing I can get to work.

Light bulbs - when did they get so expensive?

We have had low energy ones for the last decade or so all over the house. In the living room one bulb went so OH tried to get a replacement, every time we were out shopping he would turn into Victor Meldrew looking at light bulbs and muttering about the time when bulbs were 25p each.
Then the 2nd bulb went a few weeks later so them we had to get replacements - ended up spending £15 in Clas Olsens in Liverpool for 3 bulbs.
OH said the new bulbs will probably outlast us and if we ever move house they have to go with us
He also quite rightly said how does anyone existing on minimum wages topped up with benefits manage to replace light bulbs without going into financial crisis :rotfl:

If you are going to get the compressed ones you need two to make it work as T has them on two for one. The men's ones are just a good price in T (for comparison purposes, before Savvy says anything :D)
So, either two compressed or two men's but not one of each :)

They are a nightmare. So many different types. My dad has a really old fashioned ironmongers, think four candles :rotfl::rotfl:
He spends ages finding the correct replacement only for someone to object to the price, out of his control really.

He does offer a free replacement service to the elderly though as he refuses to sell them a step ladder for them to do it themselves. He gets a real mix of praise and criticism for this though.:(

This is what happens when your school history project is 'Life in the Trenches during the First World War' and your mum is a baker:D
