Instore (if that's what you mean), yes; I think the most I've used in one shop is 12, mostly littlies:) with a couple of biggies:D but all under a tenner.
I seem to remember I bought a pair of shoes (for me) and bottle of Irish whiskey (birthday pressie).

I don't have a dim view personally, I brought this comment up so think it's best I explain what I meant... I was more commenting on how you sometimes forget how public this is, sometimes I feel like I know some of the people personally, and I know many on here have been around a lot, lot, longer than I have so I can't believe how some of those must feel... and of course this is a reminder of how quickly the stuff gets around on the net, different sites, forums, social media etc.

However if none of us post, and we all lurk. There's no deals to share. So the more posting, reporting, hunting can only be a good thing!
I've found it to be very rewarding. :D

Thanks for that, it was not your comment though but the highlighting of the specific part that hit a nerve. I see where you were coming from and agree, I just thought the part that was highlighted made it sound easy to lurk and I find it anything but so felt the need to add my tuppenceworth :)

Nothing new, but they consistently don't have Udis and don't bother to substitute. They also keep subbing the cherry brandy with apricot brandy, so that's another item and 50p!

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Cream Crackers (300g)£0.40N/A
1 x ASDA Smartprice UHT Skimmed Milk (1L)£0.49£0.49
1 x ASDA Smartprice Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce (410g)£0.24£0.23
1 x Seriously Strong Extra Mature White Cheddar (350g) (sadly no vouchers for me!) £3.50£2.00
    1 x ASDA Butter - Salted (250g)£0.92£0.88
1 x ASDA Smartprice Garden Peas in Water (300g)£0.21£0.21
    10 x Udi's Gluten Free Strawberry Toaster Pastries (5x5...£29.50£10.00
1 x De Kuyper Cherry Brandy Liqueur (500ml)£12.50£12.00

Crackers went up to 50p briefly and are now on roll back!

(I've removed items from this which are not of interest by the way.)

Just had to log in at this. The bit you highlighted in the quote, it refers to effort, this implies you think there is no effort as a lurker?

I have already, way back on previous discussion, put on record some reasons. Could not help but point out that it is a lot harder for those of us not part of any 'group or in and cliche. I see quite a few mentions of pm's and thanks for text tipping off about one thing or other.

So whilst I contribute very little, I would if I had anything to contribute, I find it hard to believe it is easier for me than someone who's made connection with others and can text or pm and get details, not to mention the other place with groups. Sorry just could not help but point it out as a few, not many but enough, have a dim view of lurkers which I think is pretty sad.

I have been 'around' since the DTD days, tail end unfortunately when the cap was in place and seen the inception of this thread. Took quite a while away following a lot of nonsense and RL which got in way of me keeping up. It is certainly far from easy for me, others may find it easy but I certainly don't.

Going too far now but I also see what you'd term regulars pop in for what they need and toddle off for long periods of time, swings and roundabouts. I find it surprising and disappointing that in a place that tends to accept all and try and understand others and situations that this downer on lurkers persists. I think lurkers that actually make use of this thread do leg work in the reading and keeping up, others who are not prepared to would drop off. I see many a mention of search function, mine never gets me any info I want so I make a point of keeping up.

I don't have a dim view of lurkers at all - I've always said each to their own..post, don't post, join in, whatever

I'm more of a lurker than a regular poster myself these days :)

Believe it or not, the answer to that is our fellow poster Munqui. He gave me a small piece of information a couple of months ago which inadvertantly led me to a whole new approach to glitching. I now think outside the box and have quite a few methods that I regularly use to find the next glitch.
Thanks SFSB for this one and all the others recently:T and Munqui too:)

Really? I have always been so careful not to mix my fruit and veg up, no idea why though :rotfl::rotfl: I am going to try the apple idea. Hope I don't forget about the apple though as they cost a fortune

I put a very small one in the fridge and it is still there... Seems to continue working through at some stage I should probably change it.
