Dreading this mornings job have not looked at finances for over 2 weeks and like to know exactly what is in current account. Have this bundle of receipts and ATM withdrawal slips mr TS has given me as well as my own. I still do it all by hand the sums to keep my brain in gear. But times like this when it's completely out of date wish had a spreadsheet. :eek:0

I keep a spreadsheet for my credit card, just to make sure my totals and theirs tally, don't need to for my current account though as I know what is in there and what goes out, just keep checking it online.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I wouldn't be happy checking online as there are always delays with some transactions especially the odd cheque. My books are as it's been spent usually so I can see what's left and not allocated to bills. I then reconcile back to my statements. I am probably stuck in a time warp the way I do it.0 -
