Some strange sandwich fillings being mentioned.
Don't think I'll ever try banana and marmite!
My Grandmother used to eat banana sandwiches and also she'd eat egg white sandwiches too (us awkward grandkids would only eat the yellow of the egg :o )
Stinky, you should definitely go with fish legs. :D
Cakes priced at 50p a cake (I thought it was too high :o ) and they're selling

Dreading this mornings job have not looked at finances for over 2 weeks and like to know exactly what is in current account. Have this bundle of receipts and ATM withdrawal slips mr TS has given me as well as my own. I still do it all by hand the sums to keep my brain in gear. But times like this when it's completely out of date wish had a spreadsheet.

There is a satisfaction in doing the mental maths but I mainly do this in supermarkets so the final tally is similar to my predictions.
You have to set aside an hour every week to do the household accounts - ideally with no one else at home to distract you - excel charts are brilliant once set up - I love doing the formulas.

About 5 years ago when we finally - after about 25 years of barely making it through from one month to the rest but mostly being in serious dodo - when we finally got to the end of the long black tunnel I set up excel charts, noting every bit of money we have from whatever source. The first year I think we saved a thousand :j and then gradually things get better each year - even allowing for things like holidays, massive builders bills and even bigger garage bills

I wish someone had told me back then that it was only a long tunnel and that eventually there would be a light and we would go out the other side.

Mind you as old age and decrepitude approach we might end up back in the long dark tunnel :)

    Arghhhh morning all.
I've just made myself a banana, strawberry and kiwi fruit salad with a activia blueberry and available fruit fushion yogurt poured all over it for breakfast. I've put it on the arm of the sofa for literally 5 seconds. The blimming cat has jumped up, knocked it off and it's gone all over the carpet.:eek:
Trying to get it up without squashing the acai berries into the carpet and staining it was a flipping nightmare.
I shouted "oh bugg3r it" without thinking and now lil stink is telling me off for saying naughty words.
Can I go back to bed please??
:rotfl::rotfl: sounded very yummy though, all I got was a weetabix

edit: if it does appear on a.com then it will soon get to msm and then likely wont trigger anymore.
