sadly when both are full time they spend vast swathes of the weekend cleaning up and tackling the washing - my eldest and her BF are both in that situation, not getting home until 7 at night. The flat has one huge kitchen and living room so a bit untidiness in the kitchen makes the entire flat look messy.
BF is very undomesticated, eldest child is still trying to teach him - his mum cosseted him but they do have joint Sunday cleaning sessions.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Come in, but don't expect to find
All dishes done, all floors ashine.
Observe the crumbs and toys galore.
The smudgy prints upon the door.
The little ones we shelter here
Don't thrive on a spotless atmosphere.
They're more inclined to disarray
And carefree even messy play.
Their needs are great, their patience small.
All day I'm at their beck and call.
It's Mommy come! Mommy see!
Wiggly worms and red scraped knee.
Painted pictures, blocks piled high.
My floors unshined, the days go by.
Some future day they'll flee this nest,
And I at last will have a rest!
Now you tell me which matters more,
A happy child or a polished floor?

Morning luvlies. Anyone else doing the cat food trial for Insiders? The price of the ProPlan 1.5kg bag has dropped to £10 now in Pets at Home, only just noticed so may have been on for a while. Anyway, after the £5 moc contained in the trial they sent us, works out at £5 for 1.5kg. Link takes you to the Chicken flavour and they have others, all shown at 12.49 but when added it to my basket comes up at £10. Presuming this is the case in store too but haven't checked. HTH

Edit: the 10 x 85g pouches have also dropped to £6, so £3 with the other moc they sent
Edit 2: the 1.5kg packs are also on offer at £10 in Jollyes Pet Stores if you have one near you:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0
