The local petrol station shop is being converted to an Asda convenience store. Does that mean I can play the Adsa game?

    morning all

Does anyone else wonder on why the house gets so mucky and untidy over the weekend even though there are just 2 of you in the house to make the mess - I suppose in the week the general cleaning up is done first thing in the morning and then the essential To Do list items - at the weekend the routine goes out of the window.
It makes you wonder about retirement - I def could not stand living in this mess and having to follow OH round all the time as he leaves a trail of destruction behind him - once its clean in the morning I like it to stay perfect for most of the day or at least until OH comes back from work

anyway I am side tracking yet again.

RL is taking over for a few days - mostly I've got to look at comparisons website as our electric fixed rate is coming to an end - a very tedious task. I do have the figures from Sctottish Power though so at least it makes it simpler.

I've also got eldest son home for 2 days, not at work until Wednesday - he wasn't due home until today :(
He said last night that he def cannot think of anything he wants to do over the next 2 days - I think in his head he thinks we are supposed to keep him entertained - he's 26 for goodness sake ...

so the plan I've got for eldest son for today to keep him occupied and out of my hair and from under my feet (weather dependant) so far is

long lie in - ideally lie in until 12 so I can get house tidied up
run - even if it starts raining again
    shower
make eggy bread for brunch/early lunch
dad takes him to the shooting range
    dad makes mince and onions
    circuit training
    another shower
    early night

as you can see there are a lot of gaps in this schedule and its very weather dependant for eldest son to start moaning about being bored

and while I am distracted trying to think of thrilling things to entertain a bored 26 year old on a wet Monday in February then I am also getting side tracked and not getting on with my To Do list :rotfl:

Just spotted a pile of cat sick on the study floor probably deposited by a cat last night - I think this is going to be the level this week ....

Good morning woken up by a lot of dog barking:eek: and then heard the dustman why do they always insist on shouting to each other :(

They also empty everyones bins between 7 and 8 in the morning, making enough noise to wake the dead and also they like to block roads and hold up the weekday traffic trying to get to work/school/college traffic

so then what do binmen do with the rest of the day if all of the lorries are back at the depot by 9 ....
