Morning all! Woken by the window cleaner but nobody else home and I wasn't dressed so I didn't answer the door :o

I was up late last night. Been getting into bad habits going to bed too late! Definitely going to knock that on the head. I hope your Mondays aren't too grim :)

    good morning all...

wet and miserable here and I need to go out but putting it off in the hope that the rain stops.

You can tell its half term in our house...kids are just about getting up and by the sounds of it coughing and sneezing well...it seems to be a general trend in our house that as soon as there is a break they both come down with something!

Shopping wise if you can manage another Dr O pizza....they appear to be doing a MBG/tmf promotion...I picked one up in T the other day!

    morning all

Does anyone else wonder on why the house gets so mucky and untidy over the weekend even though there are just 2 of you in the house to make the mess - I suppose in the week the general cleaning up is done first thing in the morning and then the essential To Do list items - at the weekend the routine goes out of the window.
It makes you wonder about retirement - I def could not stand living in this mess and having to follow OH round all the time as he leaves a trail of destruction behind him - once its clean in the morning I like it to stay perfect for most of the day or at least until OH comes back from work
What I'd like to know is how people keep their houses tidy when they both work full time  When I get home from work I am both mentally and physically exhausted :o These people must either be super human or they have no other life other than work and chores

I'm looking forward to my retirement when I'll have time to do hobbies although I won't be surprised if there's no such thing by the time I reach that age, it will be work until you drop :(
