Hi abailey54 , how are you and babba, hope your feeling a bit better :)

Thanks izzy, things are definitely starting to improve. We've been having so many smiles and eye contact over today and yesterday so I think dd's discomfort is leaving, it's certainly made us feel brighter anyway :D

I know there are people who have much bigger worries, it's only been a bit of constipation and silent reflux. I think it's the sleep deprivation that makes everything seem worse than it is and makes you question every little thing you do. Luckily for me dh hasn't been working as much as he was so I've had a good bit of sleep today and yesterday. He's doing a 24hr shift tomorrow so I'm hoping that things stay as they are - I think it was all those he was doing that was killing me before :)

I'm going to hold my hands up in shame. I've been putting off sorting out everything in my room, particularly a stash of paperwork I've had laying about for a few years (old statements and such). So far I've found a stray £10 note from a Christmas card 2/3 years ago and an old Barclaycard/Egg card statement (which has been long paid off) but shows I had PPI on it. Now I need to find out how to claim it as Eggcard went under about 5/6 years ago. Result so far though :rotfl:

Egg cards were taken over by Barclaycard Mastercard (savings went to Yorkshire Building Society) A real shame at the time as Egg Money was a fantastic mule for stoozing (you could balance transfer a made up balsnce Egg to Capital One and other credit cards at 0% with no fee on balance transfers ... and then transfer straight from Egg Money to your bank account then off to Icesave or ING high interest savings). Ah, those were the days ... :).

Depends how strong security is. Thats the benefit of P&O, they let you. Could always try some 'rum-runners', or if you get a bottle of water, and heat the lid up with some boiling water, you can take it off without breaking the seal, then re-fill it, and it still looks un-opened, but when you shake vodka, the bubbles are different to vodka, so if they are looking for it, they will know.

Thanks for the ideas. Think I have found something that will work. More notice and a couple of tresseme bottles cleaned will and sterilised would have done the trick in case. He is tight and person he is travelling with doesn't drink (mostly water or occasional soda) and the had to both take the drink package. He sat in travel agent and worked out exactly what he would spend ship prices and the £800 for their drinks just wasn't worth it.

Must say he is very excited.

  • Does anyone have sky multi room??. I'm trying to find out if you can swap the boxes over once connected..eg we've loads of movies for the monkeys on our old box a in the conservatory but it's too cold to watch in there...can I disconnect it and plug it in to the new box b in the living room where it's warmer
No I don't have it, sorry. But I don't see any reason why not. Both boxes will still be connected to the same phoneline and hence just to the one account.
Maybe someone on the Sky Forum could help, or there may already be an answer to your question there

Or maybe have a look on the DigitalSpy forum; this sounds a bit similar to what you want to do?

I would say 'try it and see what happens'. You can always swap them back if it doesn't work.

We've not got multi room..(so can't test)...yet but was wondering as mr monkeys thinking of signing up for it...and were 90% full on the box with anything and everything it would be a shame to loose it all.

    Thank you

As far as we know it is fine to swap them around.

Of course! We are very similar in some respects, I've known her for 21 years now (makes me feel old!) :p
