Afternoon allHappy Friday
Well done tweets, bubbs and Emmap on your healthiness (and to anyone else, I'm only reading about 2 pages a day so nothing personal in leaving you out).
The Elite are kicking butt :T:T:T
I'm still struggling with an unsettled dd, we have some new medication which we hope will help, though the GP thinks we're trying to medicalise normal baby behaviour (though I suspect his generalist knowledge might not extend to knowing what is actually normal behaviour for an 8wk old ). Sorry for rant, I'm about a week away from pnd (I deleted the longer version:rotfl:)
I will only echo what others have said but you really should see someone if you think your headed towards PND Hun.
I remember the health visitor doing questionnaires on me and sending me off for an appointment with someone (I thought it was all a waste of time initially as didn't know what was wrong with me) I think baby Dip was probably around 6-8 weeks old at that point.
Turned out I had post natal anxiety and have been an anxious person for donkeys years (didn't realise that's why my head is always full of all kinds of crazy :rotfl: )
I went and I chatted for an hour about nothing in particular and it didn't half make me feel betterI refused meds that were offered to me though
Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Yes you can. That's what I'll do if the cleaning stuff is full price.
I've often had a line empty like that. Not good!
Thank you Picasso.
If I refused some items because too expensive presumably that would stop the APG working if I hadn't got enough fillers.....is that right?
Is it eight comparable items you need?

If she can drive well enough to be allowed out on the roads by her self, she would be good enough to drive in busy streets, she would encounter these when driving anyway, so best to be sure when she has someone in with her.
I guess what I am trying to say is its better for her to be trained and assessed at being able to drive, not just being able to pass a test.
Often driving instructors will go out of there way to take you near the test centre your test is booked as part of your lessons so you get a feel of the area before the day. And get to experience going on the major roads between towns.0 -

Good morning all...
Cat to the vet this morning for boosters...and a weight check has revealed shes lost 10% of her weight since the last visit 6 months ago... held back mentioning the nagging thought that I have had recently about the amount of water she is also drinking!
we thought because she was small she was a young cat when we got her,it now seems she may have been considerably older than she looked and this could signal the spiral into hyperthyroidism etc, something we know very well as our previous cat suffered for many years with it...
ho hum...one child is particularly upset...he dotes on the cat
I have an elderly cat (18) who has thyroid problems. Around 6 years ago she had them, took a long while to stabilise on medication, then eventually one side of her thyroid was removed surgically. That did cure it for a while, but last year (or maybe year before) she lost a load of weight again and started drinking tonnes.
The vet was lovely, didn't even bother with blood tests because of her age, and said to try her on the tablets. Gave me a months supply, but told me to buy them online as they were cheaper, and gave me a free prescription. I buy them from animed, just under £15 for a months supply, and the vet now gives me 6 monthly prescriptions and charges £10. Saves a fortune.
Cat is never going to put loads of weight on as she is so old, but she put some back on and is now stable again. Her appetite is more stable, and she has stopped going through bowls of water a day.
Only thing we have to be aware of is she may have a heart attack, as her heart is beating very fast due to the thyroid problem apparently. However, she is happy, not in pain and still has a great quality of life, so will keep going until that changes. One thing for sure, will be devastated when she is gone, as I had her before I had my children, so she is a big part of all our lives.0 -
redfraggle wrote: »Hmn, if the address on the account is different to your bank card, the payment might get refused by the bank. If possible change back ASAP as they only tend to take the money just before. There's no issue with having an address on the account that's miles away from the store, ive had a HD in Scotland while my accounts registered in Worcestershire
Thank u I didn't go through with order, I might be brave & try again. Do u know it it will affect the £100 pm limit please thanks0 -
