I used a different account for todays shop as I already claimed almost £100 on my other one
Just collected my C&C and I've been charged full price for the dishwasher tabsI tried to work out what had happened as the SA was loading my shopping into my car because I knew I was being charged more than expected. I could not work it out in time or I would have refused the dishwasher tabs. The price is not showing on my receipt but if you add up everything I have been charged £16 and not £10 as on the SEL  Probably not worth querying with them and drawing attention just for £6 but it is annoying
Completely missing the price of what you were charged on the receipt is naughty, no wonder you couldn't see the error straight away
With C&C can you refuse goods if they aren't the price you want to pay by using some excuse?0 -
Good morning! Thanks to E for the cleaning stuff. Have done a CC order to be picked up tomorrow. I presume it will still be working then please?
I've also ordered 1 x extra mature cheddar (did that even before I read about it here) and will report tomorrow on the price.0 -

Yes you can. That's what I'll do if the cleaning stuff is full price.
I've often had a line empty like that. Not good!0 -
Happy Friday
Well done tweets, bubbs and Emmap on your healthiness (and to anyone else, I'm only reading about 2 pages a day so nothing personal in leaving you out).
The Elite are kicking butt :T:T:T
I'm still struggling with an unsettled dd, we have some new medication which we hope will help, though the GP thinks we're trying to medicalise normal baby behaviour (though I suspect his generalist knowledge might not extend to knowing what is actually normal behaviour for an 8wk old ). Sorry for rant, I'm about a week away from pnd (I deleted the longer version:rotfl:)
Sending you lots of Tiny hugs abailey sounds like you need loads. :A0 -
I have been inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee last night to get out my sewing machine, and quilt an Indian patchwork throw. It is now warmer, and heavy enough to stay on the bed. (Used some recycled fleece, so it didn't cost anything.).
Car at the garage having the breaks done. (£170) EEK! Can't see OH agreeing to new shower enclosure or Kitchen island worktop after that little surprise!!!! Bet he won't let us have takeaway tonight either!
Perhaps I need to be more adventurous and learn how to do the C&C thingy......?In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Good morning all
Cjj I thought the girl looked so sad Thanks for sharing and to TS too I think we forget, (not deliberately just RL events) that what is normal for us may not be normal for another person
Abailiey if you think you may have PND see someone soon My DIL suffered for months before she would admit it She is now so much better
Going to tidy up then taking DH shopping Vouchers to be used up
Hope my enforced "sick" leave starting next week will go as quickly as this holiday
Enjoy your day We have heavy rain
I just made the connection, yes you must talk to your Health Visitor abailey54. xx
That was one of the reasons I took medication for 9 months, PND after having DD2 with my OCD did not make for a good combination. But don't think I would have got through the PND part without the meds, I literally got to the point where I could not function, please please if you feel you may be suffering get some help. :A0 -
Its the most difficult thing in the world to do AB54...but hang in there...one of my 2 was horrendous in the early years and it was a major achievement if we just got up most days...he had very unpredictable sleeping patterns because of issues and also struggled with feeding.
Sleep deprivation is the devil I know!!!
sending you loads of hugs and positive thoughts .... you're doing a great jobfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I've been trying to book a driving test for DD1 but the earliest we can book is middle of June  She has waited so long to pass her theory test and now just wants to crack on with the practical test.
I've seen some websites that say they can get you a cancellation (for a fee) and wondered if anyone had any experience of them?
Its so annoying as it only seems to be our test centre that has a long waiting list. All of the other ones near us have February and March dates available but they're all in very busy towns.
I keep logging on several times a day but haven't seen a single cancellation for our centre.
.
If she is wanting an earlier test date, would it not be better to do one at a different centre. If she can drive well enough to be allowed out on the roads by her self, she would be good enough to drive in busy streets, she would encounter these when driving anyway, so best to be sure when she has someone in with her.
I guess what I am trying to say is its better for her to be trained and assessed at being able to drive, not just being able to pass a test.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
