Just from my experience of these voting comps you actually stand very little chance of beating 'the professional compers', there are so many under hand tactics that go on with voting rings of people and people buying votes etc.
If your daughter is happy then post the link so we can all vote for her but please don't let it take over your life because there are professional compers out there who will literally increase their vote totals by hundreds in the last couple of hours.
Over the years voting comps have turned into a shambles and sadly the true talent rarely wins
Thanks for your view Eyespy.
You sound like my OH, who was not impressed I was still in my dressing gown when he got home yesterday. He said I can't let it take over my life.
I guess you just want the best for your kids, not expecting her to win but would like her not to finish near the bottom.0 -

But if the general tiredness just keeps rolling over and over day after day and you're waking up not feeling refreshed that is not good. Have you ever had your thyroid checked?
Also important to eat after a workout and what you eat helps your recovery. Protein and something to replace the glycogen stores in your muscles especially if you have had a heavy weights session or even body weight exercise - I usually have a small piece of cantaloupe melon. But think I'm really lucky in that soreness is not a big issue for me.
My "do nothing" weekend has paid dividends with my workouts this week:D
that pretty much sums me up, I'm one rolling ball of tiredness and most of the time when I wake up it doesn't feel like I've been to sleepIt's not even so much muscle soreness, just a feeling like you couldn't physically move if your life depended on it!
It's not like I'm not active though. I walk to and from work which is 2.5 miles a day and when I'm at work I'm on my feet the whole time rushing about easily doing 10000 steps in a shift some days. Must admit I have wondered about my thyroid in the past but I'm not very good at asking the doctor about these kind of things too self conscious to question them...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Good afternoon all...
Just back from a trip to T and I can understand why I like to go first thing in the morning....too many people their today who just want to stand in the same place as me.
Lots of reduced coffees and teas...mainly the speciality tea bag type things that bought them down to a reasonable price for tea.
Got a few ground coffee pouches..percol I think at about £1.50 a bag so that keeps us going for a few months
I read FC's account of her shopping trip with ds2 yesterday...and I fear we are going to have a similar experiece tomorrow as I've been putting off the shopping trip with my ds2 all week....desperate need of new clothes,it must be an age thing as I'm sure they all fitted him at christmas!
Also seemed to be loads of candles reduced but really didnt look into them that well as the cheapest was £1.50...but they were certainly clearing out the glade/airwick and febreeze varieties.
Took the hand scanner on a trip down the choccy aisle but all still scanning at normal prices so I guess they are hoping to use the residual cxhristmas/valentines stock for mothers day and easter.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

When I spoke to CS they said that all that they can see is your online order. They can't see the receipt for what items you actually got and what you actually got charged.
Last time I had to chase up a refund for the washing up tabs, I was told by CS that the store you collected your order from has to put through and approve the refund of any rejected goods before CS can action it.
For my order the store had not even put that I have refused the washing up tablets, therefore CS couldn't give the refund. CS sent a request through to the store for the store to confirm that the refund was due. The store did not respond. I therefore ended up going into the store and getting them to phone CS to confirm that the refund was due to me. This took 3 weeks to sort out.
The problem therefore seems not to lie CS, but rather the store when it comes to refunds not going through when they should.
Thanks for this. The problem is that the click and collect from our store isn't actually done at our store, its sent from another store! I've never had a problem with refunds before, they've always come through fine. I think the issue with this is because I used the e voucher that ended up being for more than the value of the shop due to things not being in stock.
Had a similar issue yesterday with a home delivery, loads of washing stuff I ordered wasn't in stock and they didn't stock, so ended up being over £20 "in credit" for the shop due to e vouchers. Delivery driver was really helpful, as told her I was having an issue with a similar thing and customer services don't have a clue. She gave me the number for the store where the home delivery comes from, and I spoke to a very helpful chap there who is trying to get it sorted for me.0
