his dental situation is very poor indeed. Not everything is always as it seems.
My DS has a VERY restrictive diet due to his autism. It's quite common in conditions such as that. He stopped drinking milk before he was 2and won't touch just water. The only way to keep him hydrated is to give him squash (as weak as I can make it). He won't eat certain colours or textures of food. That's not negotiable, he literally would just not eat if I tried to force him to eat what I deem healthy. I've been attending a nutritionist for years with him. We get by maximising his love of yogurts (only ever strawberry) and bananas and (all red) apples which cost an absolute fortune
These programmes sensationalise things. Sometimes there's not always a choice. I have told the story on here before of the little girl who would eat absolutely nothing but Sainsburys cooking chocolate.
I know that some people make poor choices in what they feed their kids on and that's inexcusable but sometimes there isn't a choice

For all we know there could be a very plausible reason behind it but they won't show that as it wouldn't generate any controversy or get people talking about it. Same with these programs about people on benefits and what not. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Pure sensationalism.
I agree but these people are out thereWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

A few changes therefore. I went to... a brand new store:D, that is one I've never done a price collection in before (apart from about 10 items I checked in that store that late evening when I was desperate).
I found M Cheesy Snack Mix 150g at 20p:mad::mad:. Mad because, not only was it completely OOS with that SEL showing, but it's been showing 48p for a number of weeks in all my previous stores that stocked it when, I suspect, it had gone onto 20p! So, I only find out about it when I happen to go to a store I've "never" been to before (apart from that one occasion, when I also checked its viability as a price collection place for me). I suspect this is one we may have missed - but I'll put it onto the list and good luck indeed finding it if there is any 20p for you on the SEL!
There is still some 2L Costa Orange Juice available from M at 50p. This store had one unit - and it scanned at 50p. Incorrect price of £1 on the SEL though:rotfl:. I don't think this will work on the APG now, as stores completely OOS and no SEL appears to be the norm. If it ever worked (I don't think we ever knew), I think it's into the far more risky territory now. So, if you are lucky indeed to find it in your M, I'd just buy it there (obviously not on a comparison vs A!).
I don't know where I found the Mrs Crimbles Cake/Sponge Mix (at 50p) last time, as not available in any of my Ms today. I think it was probably that small store in the other direction... anyway... I've leave it on as it may still be available in M, although whether at 50p or not I don't know.
I am continuing with the Glade Bali & Jasmine Sandalwood Candle at £1.48 now:D:D:D. I think this is now at its best chance of getting picked up - I have consistent SELs for it now across three stores today, and I even found stock in two stores. Of course, we don't know - it could still return N/A for M, but it is now available for me unlike three weeks ago when I didn't have it and neither did the APG collectors. That said, "at it's best chance" - if the item is a new item that's never been picked up and awaits approval from msm - which can take ages - before it gets put into their manual database then it stands no chance at all. I don't know whether this has ever compared before and only went N/A after it went to RTC and went OOS in some (many?) M stores.
M have been RTC'ing some tinned products, they've had (still got some of) the frozen RTCs (I have perhaps a couple of new ones there) and now there are some items in the pets aisle that appear to be on RTC prices. They'll go onto the list - one I'm not so sure of though: is £1.72 for a Small Dog Collar and Lead a good price?
I thought this was good:
Morrisons Fairy Cake Cases - White (100)
58p 5.8p / 10 Cases
59p
...but maybe it isn't though now. I thought it was going to be better than 10% off M's price (the one from perhaps a couple of years ago when it was 55p, and therefore approx. 49p with 10% cheaper) - however the offer labels in M say it is 10 white cases?!? Not 100? If they are 100, then the 150 More points offer would be better than the previous 49p price, so maybe it is good - even if just 1p:( vs A. However, if it's just 10 cases, then no good!
I have refused to do 10% cheaper than 59p, ever since that price went up from 55p and just seen the item (on a comparison from A) as a rip-off ever since:rotfl:.0 -
Good evening
Just to let people know who are buying the two eggs for 1.50 in Morribobs that there is a limit of four per transaction. Got trouted today at SS tills for the major crime of having 6 in my basket. SA said the tills would only accept four per customer and people were complaining very loudly that Moribobs had no signs up to tell customers of the four eggs allowance. Most of staff were busy taking eggs off customers and putting them back on shelves.Nearly a riot in there so GOT out quick0 -
To make you all smile......
My shopping trip with DS2 today....
We went into the GAP outlet, where for years I get a 15% discount off my next trip by supplying them with an email address.
SA: Do we have your email address? you can save 15% on your next visit if you register for our newsletter.
Me: No...just took the pen to write my email down....
DS2: Yes you have, we used the discount the last time you brought me here:o:o:o:o
Mountain warehouse......The SA was giving us some hard sell on various items half price today with any purchase
DS2.....' No we don't want a half price lantern and no we don't want 10% off online for getting our receipt emailed to us. We just want this coat and we don't want to buy anything else':o:o:o
Cadburys outlet......'Do you know these are 97p in Asda just now':o:o
Next outlet....SA asks if I have an online account. I don't but I said I did because I know they are plugging 20% off for you and a friend
DS2..' no you don't. You won't be ripped off by a company that tries to get you to feel special by calling you a VIP and making you dress your kids in the same clothes as half of the UK but these jeans are ok at £9':o:o
From now on I'm buying his clothes online......and that lot cost me a McDonald's0 -
