I do have to laugh sometimes at the prices on shelves and, presumably, paid by muggles. The ones that got me were the Bloo toilet cleaners in M - at £2 each:eek: and even when they were to "2 for £3", I had to laugh at that pricing! £1.50 each! After we'd been having them for a bit over 50p.
I know I'm onto Dettols again - but are there some items missing currently in the 2 for £2 cleaning mbuy? I see only 55 signed out on msm (and 50 signed in) - surely there were a lot more than that or have some items come out of the offer? I have several Dettol 500mls showing on msm at individual price of £1.98 - these seem quite high priced and I know other Dettols on RTC instore for CC - but is it really just the Anti Bac Surface Cleanser Spray 500ml on £1.98 and 2 for £2 - the Green Apple, Crisp Linen, Citrus Zest are not on the offer and are £1.98 straight? Not that they compare any good elsewhere:rotfl:.0 -

Very pink will not work as its still on msm, it needs to be called Very Very Pink (2 verys):D I've tested the sweet smile trigger, results after 3:40pm. Also I think I may have found a Dove shower gel glitch, fingers crossed, I'll let you know details when I get my results
Can I ask what the Very Very Pink trigger was? Impulse? Just impulse or a set like the Sweet Smile set? TIAMissAdventure wrote: »Bit of apg recycling, Udi's etc.

One last question (for today), I keep seeing toilet rolls on people's shops, which ones are these please and are they just a straight comparison or some kind of glitch? Thank you.

Savvybuyer wrote: »Evangeline, were the Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner and the Dettol Laundry Cleanser on mbuy on your shop earlier? TIA.
EDIT: I notice you've answered and the spreadsheet itself now tells me the Laundry Cleanser is £4.58, so no glitch.
New question:
Is there any Dettol (or indeed any Mr Muscle) now glitching on instore purchasing? TIA.0 -

hello. Was me.. Buy in 2's, in A. (along with 7 other fillers that are cheaper/same price in T). there are 5 variations of the imperial leather so get any. £2 each or 2 for £3. compares to 50p each in T. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=imperial%20leather%20rose%20garden
How come they compare at 50p at Tesco when they show as £2 at T? Is this just the joy of it being a glitch?0 -
So - Morrisons list, looks like it's going to be overnight again, there are a few changes. Not sure whether to go for the Muller Corner/Rice multipacks overnight if they come on. I was looking at this thread at about 2pm and already late. I decided to go to try the Easter Eggs at my M Local first. So I walked to the Local first. The Eggs didn't work:(. They were not £1 individual price but marked up at, and cashier scanned at, £1.50 bogo'f'. They were not 2 for £1.50 (suggesting £1 each, any 2 for £1.50) as reported on the FB page, instead they were £1.50 bogo'f'.
However I duly picked up two Creme Egg Medium Eggs and the total was £1.50 which I paid (I was ready to pick up another two if the price was 50p). Bet it was the Caramel Eggs (showing exact same pricing) that worked:(! However, I picked the two Creme Eggs as instructed. People need to be much more clear - if you say "Buy the Creme Eggs", then I will buy the Creme Eggs. Strangely enough:rotfl:. If it's the Caramel Eggs that I should be buying, then say "the Caramel Eggs" and then I will buy the Caramel Eggs instead! On this occasion, it's an outside website so it's no-one here has been unclear.
I paid the £1.50 (even though that's now real money, not a £5 voucher and thus paying them beyond that:mad::rotfl:). I think that's the best offer we will get, at least prior to Easter. These are normally offer of £1 at A, so two at equivalent 75p each isn't bad. Of course, I could have tried on the APG (against the main M's offer of 2 for £1.50) - however, I did not have any shop needed vs M and any 6 extra items needed (with a mix and match) on there would have cost more than 15p. I doubt that this would have picked up the mbuy price for M and even more unlikely on mix and match. Even if I'd have tried 4 different ones and thus only 4 extra fillers, that would still not have made sense and would have seen me buying twice as many as eggs as I really wanted (if they were £1.50 total, of course if it was 50p for 2 eggs, then I would have had 4). I doubt they'd compare to 2 for £1.50 on all of them and thus would have seen me paying more.
Anyway, at least they are happy now for Easter. Although not a bigger egg (on 3 for £10), and I think I ended up with one smaller (and two bigger) last year, the Medium Eggs will do well as an "Easter Egg" for this year and will be adequate enough - I don't think we're going to get much better (this side of Easter) and even the larger ones (3 for £10, even if glitched) seem to be working out costing more.0 -
Evangeline1971 wrote: »Not that I'm aware of but there is a Dettol multi due next Wednesday but we won't know what it is until after midnight. [1] I'll post and pm you the link tomorrow as I'm on my iPad and these details are on my pc
The trouble with some of the cleaning items is that they are already on 2 for £2 offer, which so rarely has a trigger, and virtually never compares anywhere good to anywhere else if the offer is picked up. So, unless they are missing the offer, it's never any good for them to be on the current offer and to pick that up! Would therefore, I think, be much better on any items going into that offer rather than coming out of it (the last category would pick up that infernal offer when any new pricing is on which would be hardly more favourable!).

I'll just say I watched some of this programme. My son had to go in and have 8 teeth out and the same amount of fillings about 3 years ago. It broke my hearthis dental situation is very poor indeed. Not everything is always as it seems.
My DS has a VERY restrictive diet due to his autism. It's quite common in conditions such as that. He stopped drinking milk before he was 2and won't touch just water. The only way to keep him hydrated is to give him squash (as weak as I can make it). He won't eat certain colours or textures of food. That's not negotiable, he literally would just not eat if I tried to force him to eat what I deem healthy. I've been attending a nutritionist for years with him. We get by maximising his love of yogurts (only ever strawberry) and bananas and (all red) apples which cost an absolute fortune
These programmes sensationalise things. Sometimes there's not always a choice. I have told the story on here before of the little girl who would eat absolutely nothing but Sainsburys cooking chocolate.
I know that some people make poor choices in what they feed their kids on and that's inexcusable but sometimes there isn't a choice0 -
Barging in to say well said FC. Programmes like that makes my blood boil. Half a story only giving the worst bits and no background info. For all we know there could be a very plausible reason behind it but they won't show that as it wouldn't generate any controversy or get people talking about it. Same with these programs about people on benefits and what not. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Pure sensationalism....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
