Munqui thanks I will save your post.
Tbh the weather we had whilst there was like the med so we spent days on the beach or by the pool. The monkeys had a wet suit each so they spent lots of time in the sea.
Deffinately one of the most beautiful beaches I've been on:)

Oh, one more important thing.... the smugglers pub, while it looks the part has terrible service, much better going to the Jube about 20 meters away - good food, cornish rattler on tap  and free wifi! which is important as woolacombe doesn't have much phone signal let alone data :rotfl:

Yes it's quite similar - very glad I asked now.

I've not listed on ebay for a long time and its on my To Do list so this would be a good place to start.

I also found a Finest cast iron pan I got from Tesco direct - was it for points or going cheap or something - very very heavy - might try ebaying that as well, if I can figure out how much its worth.

  • I love vetkoek and mince haven't had that in eons.

Me neither - it is one of the things I really miss. And although I didn't eat them often, also stamp mielies. And a good prego roll would not go amiss

Afternoon all - it might be cold outside but it looks quite spring like. I have opened the front room window :j

In between cleaning up another bout of cat sick, kitchen floor and dining room rug thus time - Ronnie this time, not usual for him - my life is so glamorous -

I decided to tackle the living room.

We have 2 full length sofas - behind mine is not much, mainly the magazine basket, the wall behind backs onto the old fire place and the wall smells a bit damp so I have to keep it clean and clear and not store much behind so there is plenty if air flow.
Under the front window is Ohs sofa and by the side of this is Ohs messy corner - believe me it is messy. When we first met he had an entire spare bedroom of mess so I was forewarned.
Mainly its trainers, various pill packets, train magazines, work related paper work, electronics, socks, DVDs of trains, photos of trains - nothing I can actually sort out even if I did want to touch it - I think he really needs his own shed a long way from the house or at least the next house needs a box room :) youngest son did pull everything out and rearranged it for him one day so he could get on top of the mess - it's just as bad now. Periodically he shuffles it around a bit, mainly to pacify me. I won't touch it all.
    --snip--

    All good stuff :D
