    Good morning Elite

I see Poppy tweets :T She looks like she's having fun :) How nice that you can keep an eye on her.

Oh has gone to pick the car up from having the clutch done, £300 :(:(

We used a website called whocanfixmycar.com Our local (very good) garage wanted £450 but the cheapest quote from the above website was £300 so we took that. The garage is in Ashton, panicking a bit in case they used inferior parts :( Fingers crossed it will be ok. We had to have the catalytic convertr done last week costing £140 and the coil spring the month before costing £90

Need to get money saving this month!

I have just had a Vileda virobi duster delivered but amazed to find I cannot get the refills.
It was from B & Q and they were unaware that they couldn't get the refills till I just phoned them and they looked into it !!!

Has anyone seen these doughnut shaped duster pads anywhere please ???

So I made smoothies and eggy bread and then eldest son remembered it was pancake day  - so it's nearly 12 and I've only just escaped the kitchen - must think I am running a hotel

They want £55 per halogen light (snazzy lights in the kitchen ceiling) and we'd need 17 of them
I'll cope with candles if I have to :D

I feel your pain on the lights issue...when we renovated 2 years ago the cheapest we could get the led halogen lights were £50 per fitted unit via the electrician we have 22!!!
they are good although one of the bulbs has needed replacing and even the unit alone is £35 as you need to replace it as a whole....although thankfully its a job that can be DIY as they do clip in and clip out.

Feeling better as I've been quoted £600 to change my kitchen spots to LEDs. 13 of them, have the awful MR16s at the moment and they just eat electricity and fail regularly. Reducing from 13 x 35w to 13 x 6w. The light should be better and some of the clips have fallen out, so the lights were not level in the ceiling so needed to do something!
