Advice please - barclays 'ping it'

I'm going to have to lend cash from my dad really until this is all done, which is not a problem as such but its really annoying. I can apparently go into branch to request a withdrawal but I will need photo ID which I told them I dont have until my passport renewal comes through (which thankfully should be any day now, as I sent it off about 2 weeks ago and was told they tend to process them quite fast thisw time of year)

I get that they are trying to protect me, but the whole situation is infuriating me right now, and receiving the letter this morning in the post about my 'pingit' registration was just the icing on top of the cake tbh.

I have not put in a formal complaint yet, but I will be. Needs to be in writing though as I don't trust it to be logged right over the phone.

Well, let's face it: Their Windows 8 app can't verify an address which has existed since 1977 so the accurate transmission of funds isn't looking very good. I'll stick with Faster Payments thank you very much!
