Help me choose a job title

I work for a small charity, but we're expanding, and my job is changing.

At the moment I'm the Administrator, do a bit of everything, first point of contact etc.

I'm probably going to become responsible for:
  • Finance - bookkeeping mostly but some responsibility for purchasing
  • Admin relating to HR - salaries, pensions, recruitment
  • Premises - organising repairs and inspections, not specifically responsible for H&S but attending to 'issues', insurance etc
  • Equipment - frightening the computers into working, sorting out anything else which goes wrong
So what would you CALL that? I'd like to avoid the 'manager' word, if I can ...

    Do it all
    Know it all
    'er what knows

    :D

No seriously, I would have called you "office manager" as your job description fits with other jobs I have known to be called that. I can understand your reluctance to have "manager" on the end.

    Sorry bout my rubbish suggestion.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...

Have just remembered there's a church which sends us money with a 'Director of Administration' - which always sounded rather grand.

And as for the non-serious suggestions, they would fit the bill, although I rather liked the idea of 'The Enforcer', since I'm usually the one hassling people for something or telling them they've not filled in their expenses forms correctly! :rotfl:

Thats pretty much my job description, but I am an Office Manager, which you didn't want to be!

Office Co-Ordinator probably fits as well though.

Because we're going to get another Administrator to do all the bitty stuff I've been trying to do as well as the more strategic stuff listed in my first post.

I suppose we could be Administrator 1 and Administrator 2, a la 'Cat in the Hat'!

    THE BOSS :D

Seriously though, what about Administration Executive? Avoids the use of the M word but does differenciate you from the other "junior Administrator".

    Just a thought..............

    Regards

At the moment we seem to be leaning towards Senior Administrator which I don't much like ...

but it occurred to me just now that something with 'Resources' in the title could work well. Resources Officer, maybe ...
