Weird court decision on my case v Ryanair

Hi all,
So six years ago, on my birthday, I turned up at the airport, only to be told at the check in desk that my flight with Ryanair had been delayed by approx. 4 hours.
I was flying to Dublin to see my girlfriend and subsequently found out that I was supposed to be attending a surprise party. I asked Ryanair to find me an alternative flight, they would not. I ended up getting a taxi to Bristol Airport and travelling on a new flight I purchased myself, to arrive in Dublin about two hours later than scheduled, not even using for the Ryanair flight, although I did check in.
Just before the six year limit to all this, I started my European Small Claims case. So Ryanair have been dragging their feet a long time over all this, because of the appeals, etc. Finally, the Judge considered the written evidence last week, and dismissed the case!
He wrote that I had not produced evidence that I attempted to check-in to the flight with Ryanair, nor that I booked with another carrier?
I am going to appeal. I believe a signed Witness Statement should suffice to prove both the above, or I hope so, as I do not have proof of the other flight, nor of the taxi to Bristol.
I do have the Ryanair flight booking that I used to return from Dublin two days after my birthday. Can I submit that, and suggest the Judge order Ryanair to confirm that I was on this return flight, just the same as they were able to confirm very quickly in their Defence that I was not on the outgoing flight?
Thanks all,
xxx

You don't have a copy of the confirmation email for your outgoing Ryanair Itinerary or Boarding Pass? A return Rynanair ticket alone won't cut any mustard. Seems unfortunate that you launched the claim with the crucial supporting evidence missing.0

EDIT post redacted our good Dr will take great care of you.
Although if you didn't travel on the flight, then technically you were not delayed. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!
Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Yes, I already submitted the flight confirmation email fro the outgoing flight to the Court with my claim.0

If you generated your boarding pass then you did effectively check in.
But yes, evidence of the 2nd flight you took is crucial also.0 -
Ah I actually have three weeks, so two more...any more advice???0

I'd look into the appeals process before continuing any further as it's fraught with costs and problems from what I can remember.
I had to get a transcript of the proceedings but not 100% sure if that is a requirement. To get a transcript you need the judges permission etc etc
Not easy or cheap from what I recall.
Please post any further questions on the dedicated Jet2 thread please.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0
