BT infinity activation/de-activation question

I am thinking of trying the BT infinity deal. I see that there is a £49 activation charge (for the engineer to swap over the wires in the cabinet?). If, at the end of the 12 month contract, I want to change back to standard broadband (either with BT or Sky or other) is there any charge or other issue to change back the wiring in the cabinet? Is this likely to cause me any problems when the 12 months are up?
