yes it does, I have the same car and I had the rack on and rack off on the motorway, it definately reduces 1-2mpg on the motorway.
It's not big so you might not think so but the racks aren't aerodynamic and cause quote a lot of messy drag.0 -

I have driven 5 different cars with and without bars, It definitely changed the mpg for the worse on those 5

cos playing with the mpg is the only "fun" thing to do on the motorway, it's like a game.0
