Late Payment

Hello ,

have just seen Vert has issued me with a late payment notice on my credit file!

I didn't realize one payment was late ! i over paid the next day . I know with defaults they have to issue you a warning first . But very.co.uk did not !

I asked them to remove as act goodwill but they refuse.

is there anything I can do /?

It's not a default, it's a late payment marker and as you did pay late, it's factual. Also it's in the T&C's that if you make a late payment you get charged a fee and the info would be recorded on your credit files.

The next step would have been to call and ask nicely if they would remove it, since you've done that and they said no, nothing more you can do about it.

Set up a DD so you don't fall into this situation again.
