Will he be a pensioner - maybe.
Will he be a young executive - maybe.
Will he be a struggling youth - maybe.
Will his car have regular oil changes using quality oil - almost certainly.0 -
It will be an 075 battery and you should try your nearest motor factor. It is the second most popular battery (the 063 is number one) and it has been a very mild winter and they will be discounting to get rid.
Car is a Mondeo Estate 2.0i GLX 5dr (Petrol)
Put my reg into eurocarparts and it says I need a 057, I do have a heated windscreen so I guess that impacts my battery choice
What benefit would the Bosch S5 offer over the Bosch S4 ?0 -
S5 gives you a 5 year warranty, S4 gives you a 4 year warranty. Depends how long you intend on keeping the car really.0

Well since you ignored my point I can only assume you want to keep the car more than 5 years then best paying for the longest warranty.0 -
i dont think bosch will actually manufacture the battery. Those will be outsourced to a battery making specialist.
btw how long does a battery last? Some people say that a battery should last 10 years.
others say max 4 and after that you're just winging it - but the UK climate is optimal for battery conditions, not too hot and not too cold. So battery lasts the longest.
Somewhere like los angeles or dubai, the battery will get fried. Similarly in cold climates like Alaska0 -

Try again with a city in south Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada or south Texas

One thing to remember is all the companies mentioned will make batteries of different quality. So on a 15 year old Mondeo do you really want the expensive option?
I think I would be looking at the cheapest option on a car of that age.
I wouldnt be looking at a cheap battery. The car still draws a lots of amps when the heated front and rear screen and heated mirrors and washers jets all come on.
I see a cheap battery as a false economy unless your selling the car soon.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Cheapest battery you can find with the longest warranty.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0

A long warranty is not much good when your in the middle of nowhere and the battery is too weak to start the car.
I would rather pay a bit extra and have something with the extra capacity not to leave me in that situation. Even though i have breakdown cover. I get a good discount for not having to call them for things like this.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
