Want to leave BT - but who do I choose?

As above, it is costing me £43 a month for broadband (not infinity), anytime calls, line rental.
I have seen a new offer from Talk Talk which looks cheap, but I am nervous about changing, because the last time was a nightmare.
I am no longer locked into a contract.
Advice please.:)

  • I feel very much that BT prices include a fooball price premium. Plusnet may well be BT without football.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I've just switched to Sky Fibre broardband and only 2 weeks in but no complaints. Six months free (just pay line rental), £30 activation charge and I should get £70 cashback from Quidco.

Sky is £16.40 plus £5 for calls (caller display is free), with the broadband free for 12 months.

I have had the service from Sky for 16 months and am quite happy.
