Windows updates driving me mad

    I don't buy into the whole Apple thing. Nothing amazes me more than when Apple have a new release, and there are security guards outside the store, shepherding small groups of customers in:rotfl:
    I think that one day it may almost be classified as a religion;)

    I'm not sure why people suffer these problems with updates. The last update consisted of 19 updates on my machine and it took 23 minutes to download, install and restart.
    If it was solely a Microsoft problem then it would be universal, would it not?

    Indeed, I'm pretty sure that the recent slow one that I referred to was a .net update, I'm always a bit cautious about them as I have had issues before, so I did this one on it's own.

    I think you change the auto update time manually.
    Leave the PC on before you sleep and allow win update at that time.
