BT Sport tempts me to stream illegally

I have BT Sport, which allows me access to their live streaming of football matches online. But it's terrible. I've tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome, installed all the requested extensions, and still it takes me at least 5 minutes of loading and reloading the page to get the stream to work. It's ludicrous. The webpage is temperamental, slow, and crashes all the time. Today it took me so long to get the stream up and running that I missed a goal.
It's far easier for me to access illegal streams than it is to get the official one they've paid £billions for and defend so vociferously.
Anybody else feel the same?
Oh, and it's not my computer that's the issue - that's brand new, i5 processor with 16GB RAM

FWIW I have no problems at all with BT Sports, whether website or via the Android app and casting to my Chromecast.

Last test last week was 17mbps, so pretty good. As I said, I can stream the unofficial links no problem, and get iplayer in HD without buffering. I have no issues with the app at all, just the website.0 -
After your post I started streaming the (text removed by MSE Forum Team) Spurs match on my laptop (as a test) ... no issues at all. (Chrome browser).
I'm not sure if the BT Sports website still uses Silverlight. (There have been previous issues for which Silverlight was blamed). Have you tried asking at the BT forum?

It works fine for me ... although I found it better in IE than Chrome (smoother picture)0

Exactly the same as DVD/Blu-Ray producers encourage you to buy knock offs by forcing you to watch that "Would you steal a car..." rubbish before every film. At least with a pirate it's cut off or you can fast forward past it.0

I like to buy designer clothes. But they're so expensive. I've tried Gucci, Armani and Prada and still they want thousands for a bespoke piece. It's ludicrous.
It's far easier for me to just thieve them."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
No real problem for me apart from the very occasional buffering . Chrome browser you View but for ease of use via Chromecast .
Just wonder as i never watch football are the problems due to football overloaded with users .0 -
I stream BT Sport from my Nexus 7 2nd gen via a Netgear Push2TV (miracast) to my TV without major problems. Occasionally it freezes and I then have to shut it down and reload it. Have been doing that for best part of a year now! My BT internet connection is nowhere near 17mb - I'm told our current max is 8mb, but suspect that most of the time it's closer to 2!0
